This is my first rap song. On the intro to one of his tracks, Big Baby Gandhi says it's "sort of like a diss track to the pussy." So this is sort of like my response track, my diss track to the dick. I'm rapping over an original Steel Tipped Dove beat off a tape he dropped in 2012. He told me it's one of the first beats he ever made, called "Born To Run Part 2 (Kenyan Lullaby)." The song was recorded and mixed by my friend, the super talented Audio Engineer Frank Metalz, who coached me on song writing and recording. I couldn't have done this without him!

I've been blogging about indie/underground rap for a couple of years now. [lanasez.com] Aside from just discovering and sharing music, I'm always interested in how it's made and how the project was executed. I've talked to a lot of artists and have interviewed producers and rappers but, last year I decided that I wanted to actually create my own song so that I could experience the process first hand.
